Clifton Station
There are many splendid walks on Clifton offering picturesque scenery and widespread views of Hawkes Bay. Take a dip in the fresh Maraetotara River beside your tent or head to the beach for a swim in the ocean just minutes away. Try your hand at fly fishing on the river with local guide Mark Webster, or see the beauty of Clifton while horserding over the property through rivers and forests. Leave it all behind and unwind with a private couples massage on the deck of your glampsite.
Wineries
Hawke's Bay is renowned as one of the premier wine destinations in the world, and within a five minute drive of your tent is the village of Te Awanga where there are four award wining wineries, each offering a different experience, and all worth a visit.

Dining
The surrounding towns and villages offer dining options to suit all tastes and budgets, from quirky cafes, to laid back eateries, and of course, fine dining. What unites all of them, is the use of Hawke's Bays finest fresh produce and artisan products to create gastronomic experiences to savour.
Activities
The Cape Kidnappers Gannet Colony is the largest mainland colony in the Southern Hemisphere with guided tours departing from Clifton, or of course, you could just trek along the beach yourself.

Cycling, the Hawke's Bay Trails are the most extensive network of cycle trails in New Zealand, and Clifton is located at the start / finish of the "Landscape Trail".
